A neophyte's mixed media offerings...
To be truly alive...

For this page, I first covered the whole page with beige acrylic paint and a paper towel. Then, again using a paper towel, a thick layer of teal acrylic paint was applied along the top of the page, then sprayed it with water so that it would run down.  I  then sponged a circular using a template, a paper towel and acrylic paint (top left and bottom right corners).  White gesso applied over a dot template provided the white dots.  The letters were die cut that I arranged using temporary adhesive, then sponged.  Once the die cuts were removed, I outlined the letters with chalk pencils.  The remaining letters were stamped an embossed or hand lettered with a paint pen.  Outlining and doodling finished the project.

God has mastery...

This zentangle started wtih the folded fabric at the top and then grew organically.  Several  weights of pens were used.

What I have is enough...

The background of this page is Fireworks spray ink from Tsukineko.   I also used a text stamp from Stampin' up.
The images on the page were transferred using gesso, then colored with watercolor pencils.  The scriptures were also transferred with gesso. The letters were cut with my die cut machine - I used removable adhesive to hold them on the page while I sponged ink around them. Then I did some outlining, doodling, and messy stuff to finish it off.
